Dr. Jorge Genovese
President and co-founder of Hearten Biotech Inc.
Jorge Genovese is the President and co-founder of Hearten Biotech Inc. Dr. Genovese graduated summa cum laude in 1980 with a M.D, from Buenos Aires University (UBA), receiving the Buenos Aires University Prize. In 1987, he obtained his Ph.D. from UBA after present a Thesis on Transforming Growth Factors that was qualified as Outstanding.
He was a Fellow of the National Council for Research and Technology (CONICET) and the Buenos Aires University. He has been Assistant Researcher at the Veterans Administration during his activity as External Fellow of UBA at St. Louis University, where he was a Faculty member at the Department of Internal medicine. He did his postdoctoral training at Rorer Biotech, Philadelphia, under Prof. Joseph Schlessinger’s direction.
Dr. Genovese has been Full Professor of Histology, Cytology, Embryology and Genetics at the Bar-Ilan Argentine Hebrew University, Invited full Professor of Molecular Biology at the Entre Rios National University, Full Professor of Cell Biology and Full Professor of Histology and Embryology at the University of CEMIC and Invited Professor for the Artificial Organs and Prosthesis Course at the Engineering School of Favaloro University.
Dr. Genovese is a pioneer in Tissue Engineering at Latin America, having generated by the first time in the region keratinocytes cultures in 1985, an organotípico dermo-epidermic device in 1998 and a genetic modified dermo-epidermic device in 2002, among many other tissues.
Dr. Graciela Mosqueda
Director and co-founder of Hearten Biotech Inc.
She obtained her degree of specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 1984 with Drs. Arabehety, Findor and Victor Perez at the University Hospital of UBA, where she completed the Post Graduated Gastroenterology Specialty Career. Dr Mosqueda has an outstanding and very well-known trajectory through the pharmaceutical industry. She is a referent, and specialist in niche markets and some orphan diseases’ treatment. Dr. Mosqueda was part of the pharmaceutical executive committee at prestigious national and foreign laboratories.

Luciana Paula Monteiro Mazzola, veterinary of Hearten Biotech, obtained her Veterinary Medical degree at the University of Buenos Aires( UBA).
She worked in La Granja veterinary center and in Santa Agueda Genetics, a Center for Equine Embryo Transfer.
In New Zealand she worked in Macca Lodge stud farm, The Prairie Dairy, Gyranda Santa Gertudis Breeding Center, Festive Dairy Farm and Progressive Dairies.
As a vet student she made different trainings at the Cavalry Regiment General San Martìn, La Pomme stud farm, Santa Dominga Angus Breeding center, Maria Teresa dairy farm, Field Los Patricios, U.B.A.
She participated in training courses on Ultrasound Diagnosis of Equine Locomotor System at the University of The Salvador, and Equine Kinesiology and Artificial Insemination in Cattle at UBA.
Maria Belen Invernizzi is the Manager of Tissue Culture Area at HeartenBiotech Inc.
She obtained her Bachelor in Science –Biotechnology- from Quilmes University (UNQ), where she also received a Laboratory Technician and a Science and Technology Diplomas.
She was a fellow at the Neurobiology Laboratory in the Institute of Biomedical Investigations UCA-CONICET where she worked in cell and molecular biology.
She was a Faculty Assistant of General Biology in UNQ.
Maria Belen has participated in different courses and congress related with her area of knowledge.
